Here at Consoltec, we are constantly looking for ways to grow and learn about the evolving language and technology industry.  For this reason, we are excited to have been given the opportunity to participate as an exhibitor at the Globalization and Localization Association (GALA), the world’s leading trade association in the language industry. This year, the conference is taking place in New York City from March 20th to 23rd, and will be hosting over 300 guests from the global language community.

GALA is a worldwide, independent community for the professional business of translation, localization, and interpreting. It offers many programs, such as online training, events, and networking opportunities, all meant to help professionals in the language industry to improve their own performance, as well as their organization’s, so that they could keep up with the growing demands of multilingual markets. In addition, the association creates and supports efforts to expand and strengthen the language industry through projects and initiatives with other organizations and institutions.

Therefore, while the attendees all come from different business backgrounds from all over the world, they all have a common goal: to engage in this open, candid, and supportive GALA community of peers, and to participate in its missions of information-sharing, collaboration, training, and professional development.
