• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Visual Studio, Microsoft .Net Framework 3.5 and 4.0+, TFS
• Extensive knowledge of Responsive Design

Job Summary

As a backend API software developer, you’ll be working on one or more of our new product initiatives. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining scalable ReST services that power our products and data platform. You will also participate in building our ecosystem of integrated services through robust API solutions, both internal and customer-oriented. You are someone with a strong and proven track record of working on a scalable web application, having designed and built API solutions that bring value to customers. You have a strong bias towards elegant and simple solutions that generate direct value for users. You can effectively communicate the results to your peers and leaders.

Responsibilities

• Create services and products that evolve consistently
• Design and build API solutions that streamline and improve our services
• Design, develop and monitor secure ReST services
• Contribute to the design, implementation and testing of new features
• Identify critical details and prioritize incremental delivery

Skills

• 10+ years of experience, including 4+ years in creating and maintaining multiple high-quality, scalable, service-oriented applications.
• Demonstrated experience with Adapter, Bridge and Facade patterns
• Proficiency in C# (REQUIRED)
• Mastery of the creation and maintenance of API ReST and the complete management of the API lifecycle (REQUIRED)
• Experience with API monitoring tools (REQUIRED) such as Application Insight.
• Proficiency in Azure (REQUIRED).
• Proficiency in CI/CD concepts and tools (REQUIRED) such as Azure DevOps
• Experience with one or more modern RPC frameworks, such as gRPC and Thrift
• Experience with other components of the technology stack (SQL Server, Angular, Typescript, Entity Framework)
