Consoltec achieves Cybersecurity Canada certification for its flagship linguistic project management system FlowFit.

Through 20 years of experience working with companies in highly regulated industries, Consoltec acquired the knowledge to maintain a high security level when deploying FlowFit to its clients. Today, we are proud to earn the Cybersecure certification and to be recognized by the federal Canadian government as a reliable provider of linguistic project management solutions.

Over the past months, our dedicated teams focused their efforts on improving security practices by training employees and implementing several new privacy measures and policies, which has enabled Consoltec to become fully compliant with government-recognized cybersecurity standards and to obtain its cybersecurity certification.

Consoltec has experienced significant growth in the last few years due to its web migration, allowing us to conquer the translation market in the United States and Europe, but also making it necessary for us to comply with international security standards. With this in mind, we have decided to put more efforts into maintaining our clients trust and finally earned this great reward to successfully wrap up 2022.

This year we are celebrating Consoltec’s 20th anniversary! We are celebrating 20 years of innovation, efforts, successes, failures, victories, commitments, and ongoing challenges. This event calls for both a reflection on the past and a reaffirmation of our vision for the future. In 20 years, we have succeeded in building a unicorn company – a company that has made its mark on an international market despite strong competition and constant technological evolution.

Today, Consoltec has achieved several important milestones that have contributed to its positioning and to FlowFit’s exponential success in the translation and localization industry. This success is closely linked to a corporate culture that is primarily based on trust, pride, and recognition – three values that have inspired a collaborative mindset that is embraced by an exceptional team of passionate and motivated people.

For 20 years now, we have made it a priority to satisfy our clients’ expectations and we have focused on adapting FlowFit to their different needs. Because of its compatibility with the different working methods and habits of users, FlowFit has now become one of the most flexible linguistic project management tools on the market. It has been a very long journey that motivates us to go further and that we dedicate to our team members, partners, customers and all of those who believed in us.

This year Consoltec participated in the traditional ESTim competition!

It is organized by the East Montreal Chamber of Commerce and its goal is to recognize all the businesses that have made the territory shine by their leadership, their achievements and their success. Over the years, it has become a not-to-be-missed event in the Eastern region.
But what is the Chamber of Commerce of Eastern Montreal? It is 32,000 businesses across 11 neighbourhoods, 1,250 members with 5 main objectives which are :

1. To bring together economic, social and political stakeholders.
2. To listen to members and encourage exchanges.
3. To represent the interests of the members.
4. Ensure the prosperity of the territory.
5. Support companies in international markets.

In short, its role is to advocate and promote the socio-economic interests of its members and businesses. Every year, the East Montreal Chamber Of Commerce organizes the famous ESTim competition, and this year, we were a part of it! During this 34th edition, 12 categories were honored. We were
represented as part of service and distribution companies. We were amongst many applicants in this category, however only 3 companies per category were selected by the jury for the grand final, including ours: Consoltec. Being a finalist is a sense of accomplishment and pride. It is a reflection of our hard work.

Through this contest, we wanted to feature our company, what we strive for, and who we are. For 20 years, Consoltec has been an innovative company dedicated to the development of FlowFit, a linguistic project management system. To succeed, we have relied on customizable and personalized services while creating a unique customer experience. This development has been made possible by the determination and will of a united team with many strengths. Our company is also mindful about our environment, which is why we are involved in actions to promote corporate social responsibility.

With all these elements, we represented Consoltec at the ESTim 2022 competition. It was an enriching and unforgettable experience that we will forever cherish.
